AA vs RAC Key Facts:
- Both the AA and RAC offer a discount when you purchase breakdown cover online, in the case of the AA it's up to 25%.
- www.theAA.co.uk has more than double the number of trained patrols than www.RAC.co.uk (4000 for the AA v RAC which has 1650)
- Both breakdown services claim to get to call out within 40 minutes on average.
- Both companies have high-tech equipment to help diagnose problems at the road side
- Both companies offer personal breakdown cover as standard and vehicle based cover as an option
- Both companies offer European breakdown cover but only as a separate policy. A discount is available with each company if you already have UK breakdown cover with them.
